 The famous guy that invented the jet pack 

back in 1981 and he took 30 years to make

The jet pack the guys name is Glenn Martin

The jet pack is not made out of jets it is really made out of duct fans. A duct fan

is a circular fan in side a cylinder which 

forces air through at a fast speed.  

Even though I don't know what a duct fan is.

Do you know how fast the jet pack goes? 74 miles per hour.  The jet pack can stay up in the air for 30 minutes. 

Glenn Martins dream was to make a jet 

pack since he was a little kid and his dream came true. Do you know a jet pack cost $250,000? Now that is a lot of money,

I wish I had that much money in my bank.

Where in the world are mountains?

Andes Mountains are in west coast of South America through seven different countries—including Argentina, Chile, and Colombia—it’s 4,700 miles long.

Mount Everest, on the border of Nepal and China in Asia, is the highest mountain above sea level in the world. 

New Zealand has mountains , mostly in the South Island. Mt Cook is the highest.

What plants would you find in the mountains?

Most plants cant live at the top of mountains because it is too cold. Moss and lichen grow.

What is the climate like?

It is cold. Mt Cook today is -10 degrees c. There is snow and wind.
